Nov 2009: Dan, Since May 2009 I have been researching a new car for my wife and me. It is technically, or at least we call it, her car. In September 2009, I checked out your dealership and may have even spoken with you at that time. Jordan Wittland was providing me assistance. Since then I talked with Jordan several times. That was during the change over from 2009 to 2010 model year. On November 9, 2009 I met with Moe Hunn and got reacquainted now that he is back. I told him what I was interested in and he told me he needed to get a Buick guy to assist. I told Moe I had talked with someone and we determined it was Jordan. It was good to see Moe because we go back to when he worked with your dad in the tire store. We then got down to business. I knew what I wanted and I knew what I wanted to pay. Jordan and Moe were able to help find the car that would meet the perceived need. Moe then was being pulled in lots of directions by lots of folks and Jordan took over to fully complete the deal. November 11, 2009 my wife and I picked up our new 2010 Buick Lucerne G5 CLX. Jordan did a great job throughout the process going back to September and of working with us to explain and set up the various features of our new car Wednesday. He spent time setting up the On Star features and the Blue Tooth feature with my cell phone. Thursday night I had my first call through the Blue Tooth in the car and it was wonderful. Jordan also explained and was very patient in setting up other features of the car. Throughout the entire process Jordan was very professional, laid back, which I appreciate, and thorough in answering and researching questions I had. He has also been very helpful since we picked up the car with a couple of issues and questions. I am no stranger to Behlmann. We bought our first refrigerator, numerous sets of tires and four vehicles over the years from your dad. This Buick is the first vehicle we have purchased from you and your staff now that you are in charge. Your dad should be proud that you are carrying on the Behlmann tradition in these “modern times” of serving and meeting the customer’s needs. I know these are probably tough times for lots of businesses including auto dealers. I certainly appreciate the efforts of your staff and found everyone great with which to work. Jim Welch in finance was also outstanding though we made it easy for him by paying cash. . This is a rather long email, but hopefully is worth the time you have spent reading it. My wife and I are completely satisfied with everything that has happened so far and I thought you would like to know. 8/31/09: The best experience I have ever had at a GMC dealership. This is the 5th Yukon I have purchased, from three different dealers. In the future this will be the only dealership I purchase a car from. No one has come close to the overall perfection this dealership offered. I dealt with 5 people in the dealership including the owner. Everyone of them displayed the same professionalism, fairness, willingless to make me happy. They never used any pressure. I left feeling that all of us made a very fair deal. My salesman was a young man, but was more knowledgable than any of the more experienced salesmen that I dealt with in the other dealerships. The owner even thanked me for purchasing the car, something he went out if his way to do. To Whom It May Concern, I felt obligated to write you a letter describing to you my experience in purchasing a new vehicle. My wife and I had been shopping the market to purchase a new SUV. We weren't sure exactly what make we wanted or could afford. We were keeping our eyes on the newspapers, internet, television commercials etc. Finally, this past Sunday, we decided to send out emails to various Saturn and GMC dealers in the St. Louis/St. Charles County areas in an attempt to see what offers were out there. We had narrowed our choices down to the Outlook or the Acadia. My wife was in an email war with Eric Carmack from St. Peter's GMC and Ryan Kemner from Behlmann. I was emailing back and forth with Don Johnson from Saturn. We were basically having offers and deals thrown at us that were hard to believe. My wife called me at work Wednesday morning and told me that I had to talk to this Eric Carmack guy tonight because it sounds like he would do anything to sell a car. So I stopped by on my way home from work. She was right, he was ready to deal. He presented me with two offers that seemed to be a steal. I could write for hours about how he talked and the things he did to make me believe I couldn't find any seller or dealer that could beat him. He told me that the offer he made me was only good for that night. This conversation took place at 6:00 p.m. I had until 9:00 p.m. to start the paperwork. I called Eric at 8:58 p.m. and told him that I couldn't make the decision yet. He became very rude and aggravated. I didn't sleep very well that night because I was afraid that I passed up a deal of a lifetime. When I woke up Thursday morning, I had convinced myself that even though this guy was a jerk, that money talked and that I was going to purchase the vehicle. When I told my wife this she told me that I should talk to this Ryan guy from Behlmann before I buy this vehicle because he seems like a good guy. She said that he has been very knowledgeable, punctual and above all else honest with her in the past few days. So I decided to call Ryan because I was tired of looking at a computer. I explained to him the whole situation. He seemed to be very bothered by it, so I asked him to tell me how he felt and to be honest. He then proceeded to tell me some "inside information" so to speak. After listening to him, I came to the realization that this Eric guy was basically lying to me and was trying to take advantage me. He basically lived up to what I consider the stereotypical "car salesman". I proceeded to talk with Ryan about finding an SUV suitable for my wife and me. Within hours, the deal was basically done. Although I ended up purchasing a different make then my wife and I intended to buy, and spending $5,000.00 more than I wanted to spend, I couldn't be happier. Ryan was everything in a car salesman that anyone could ask for. The bottom line is Ryan made a sale because of his personality, hard work and most of all, his HONESTY. Behlmann is lucky to have a salesman such as Ryan, and I will be back to Behlmann when I purchase my next vehicle.

John, Words can not describe how I felt this morning when I looked out my window and saw my new truck sitting in the driveway. It is still unreal to me that YOU could of made it happen in what I thought was an impossible situation. You and Behlmann Motors have earned a life long customer and a reference for any and all who might ask me. Even when we didn't know if anything was going to work, you took the time to go get me a coffee from a convience store, above and beyond any expectation of mine. Dear Mr. Behlmann, I came into your dealership yesterday for a repair of the recall notice for fire hazard on my . 2000 Pontiac Gran Prix GTP. Your service staff was very considerate, especially Jim Lottes who found additional problems with the vehicle. He was very honest and corteous about the additional findings. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and helpful. Jim really knows his "stuff" and was very professional. While waiting for the repairs to be done I was looking on your showroom floor at a new Buick LaCrosse and John Singleton waited on me. I test drove the LaCrosse and liked it. But my husband came over from work and wanted to look at the Lucerne. I also test drove that vehicle and liked it very much. We decided on the Lucerne since he will be retiring soon and will be doing some traveling and he wanted a bigger car. John was a wonderful salesman to deal with. He was very professional, exerted no sales pressure tactics and made the whole car buying experience a very pleasant one. I certainly can't say the same for Lou Fusz. John was excellent at answering any questions we had about the vehicle and going through all the features with me showing me how to operate them. He is a fine young man. Again, I was very impressed with your staff and dealership. I would refer anyone to your dealership and to John.

Dear Mr. Behlmann: We just pick up our new 2008 Acadia yesterday and I had to write you and tell you what a wonderful experience it has been to buy a car from Behlmann. To tell you the truth, we thought we would buy an Acadia from Bommerito, because it is much closer to our home. But were in your area and decided to test drive one to make sure all the kids could fit into it. Immediately, Jack Holt greeted us at the door, took the necessary information from us and brought us a beautiful Acadia to test drive. We explained to him right away that we had been working with Bommerito, and he said he understood. But he was so gracious and informative-- we liked him immediately. We told him my dad was a GMAC employee and that we were waiting on a woman from Bommerito to call us back with employee pricing. Well, she never did! I called Jack the next week and he ALWAYS answered the phone, quickly found the information I needed, was so helpful, but not pushy. He found us the perfect Acadia. At Bommerito I felt like the woman didn’t want to deal with me when she found out I received the employee discount. I never felt that way at Behlman. Jack worked very hard for us from the start to finish. I will recommend Behlmann to all my friends! Thank you so very much!

My mother is very sick and lives in Branson, Missouri. I needed a car to travel back and forth. The first person who helped me was John Singleton. What a great person. He was real about everything he said. He asked me what I wanted and did not try to sell me something I didn't want.He also had a great sense of humor. I think John went above and beyond all the standards set for him. He showed compassion about my situation with my mother, us not having the best credit, etc. When I left, I felt as though I should give him a big hug, and I did! After John we dealt with Mike Meyr. You could tell he really believed in us, and he assured us that almost everyone has money problems some times. Things weren't as bad as they looked. He sat patiently while my insurance man worked to get me the coverage we needed to drive my new car off the lot. We had him tied up working with my insurance man who is a dear friend of ours and has a slow computer. At one point, at least 4 guys were waiting on him. He did not rush us. He even took time to tell me how to re-establish my credit. From the time we walked in the door we were treated like guests, not just customers. Your building was so clean. My son and I even loved the waiting room for the children (even though he is a teenager.) We just thought everything was great. To have good employees you have to have good leadership. John and Mike are great examples of solid leadership. I might add, any time I passed one of the other sales people, they would always speak to me. Bhelmann Buick Pontiac GMC is now my new dealership for future car purchases. I will tell my friends that you all are 5 out of 5 stars. Thank you for giving us such great customer service. That is very hard to find these days!
